Jamie is a master’s-level Registered Social Worker with six years of practice, and she is Red River Métis and a citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation. She works with farmers, rural and remote residents, and people in high-hazard work, along with the family members beside them, and she sees young people in person at the farm office. People come carrying anger, anxiety, grief, depression, and strain in the relationships that matter most, and they find someone warm, steady and unhurried who listens without judgment. The work is practical: stronger communication, boundaries that hold, the patterns running underneath daily life, and intergenerational trauma that doesn’t get carried forward. Care plans are built collaboratively and consider the whole person, with the aim of steadier footing and real hope about what comes next.
